Description:
"Surrayya Shehab is known as a news broadcaster but she has made her debut as a novelist by writing the novel, Barishon Kay Mausam Mein.
Intezar Hussain has written the flap with an admiration for Surrayya's craftsmanship. In Intezar's words, it is a novel with two interesting sides. He says that Surrayya lives in a romantic world and that her craftsmanship weaves a magic when she describes a romantic situation. But at the same time one will find a strong realism in this book.

In Intezar's opinion, the way she has portrayed Karach's troubled situation in the novel's initial chapters can hardly be found in the books of any experienced writers. Realism, however, fails to bind her for long and the character that emerged as a symbol of Karachi's situation soon leaves the city.
Now Surrayya develops a romantic world, which seems to be more close to her heart. The bitter realities of life become beautiful after passing through romantic reminiscences. It makes the novel's atmosphere sad but Surrayya has glorified it.
Intezar believes that Surrayya is a master in writing romance."
