Should Pakistan sign the CTBT?

During the 20 years of its existence, IPS(Institute of Policy Studies) has been taking note of national and international issues, offering its floor to scholars, policy analysts, intelligentsia and general public. So far, IPS has published over 160 books and organized more than 350 seminars.
CTBT is one of the most pressing issues facing the nation. A sane decision can be arrived at only after thorough and objective debate. IPS therefore organized two seminars on this issue, the proceedings of which are being presented in the form of the present study. This volume presents both the viewpoints and provides the policy makers and the nation with an opportunity to decide this issue on the basis of merit, sound argument and a well researched disposition.
IPS has always offered advice on defense matters and this present study is again an effort by the IPS to comprehensively educate us on the CTBT issue.
