I have a deeply embeded fondness for experimenting with the flavors of traditional folk music and my Mahi, besides its coloration of Western orchestration has its true roots in the ethnic and folk music.
The title Mahi in varied cannotations brings to mind different feelings. In fine, Mahi, in different contexts means "Friend", "Lover", "Well-wisher", "Fellow" etc. For me Mahi is a labor of love and almost a period of two years and lots of blood and sweat has gone into carving its music.
I sincerely hope that the contents of Mahi live up to the listeners high expectations.
