Adnan Sami Khan and Asha Bhosle's first joint effort was an immediate success with both the Pakistani and Indian public. Also the fact that the soundtrack was to be part of Adnan Sami & Zeba Bakhtiar's much awaited film( Sargam ) further helped the cause of the album.
The first number in the album Dholki was already a big hit, much before the film came out. Since then it has become somewhat of a favorite in mehendi and ubtan ceremonies.
Pyar Hai mesmerizes you with its music and the style of song delivery. One feels no one else besides Adnan & Asha could have done justice to the song.
Bhega Mausam, when listened to during the monsoon season is sure to rekindle old memories that time has consumed.
Hadiqa Kiyani was still in her early days but does a creditable job in Suhani Rut, Dekha Tum Ko- her solo Woh Mujhey being the best of them
