Description:
Ustad Raza Ali Khan, grandson of legendary Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan, was on a private visit to Karachi where he performed at a Baethak arranged by APMC-Karachi. Raza Ali, who inherits Qasur-Patiala tradition from his father Ustad Munawwar Ali Khan, is taken as one of the most promising young vocalists in the sub-continent. Ustad Roshan Ali Khan Sarangi-Nawaz had also come with him to Karachi and accompanied Raza Ali Khan on his performance. He also performed a solo sarangi piece at this Baethak. Tabla accompaniment was provided by Ustad Bashir Khan-an eminent artist of Pakistan.
